Senior PHP Developer.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team full-time. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance PHP applications, working with various APIs, and ensuring the smooth functionality of backend systems. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of PHP frameworks, database management, and a commitment to quality code.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable PHP applications to support various projects and business needs.
- Work on API development and integration with third-party services.
- Optimize and maintain databases (MySQL) for performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in existing codebases.
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality products.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- +5 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP 7.x/8.x and experience with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
- Solid understanding of MySQL database design and optimization.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Required Skills:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony), MySQL, and API development.
- Database Design: Experience in designing and optimizing databases for performance.
- Version Control: Experience working with Git-based workflows.
