Job Objectives Responsible for design, fabrication and installation of piping and sanitary systems inside living quarters, platforms for Marine and Offshore projects to meet set milestones, Quality and HSE objectives.
Review of customer documents, specifications, and drawings and ensure construction activities are in line with approved procedures, method statements and approved drawings.
- Inputs to draughtsman/ modeller for preparation of P &ID, layouts and material selections etc.
Participate in 3D model reviews, interface checks etc.- Review and propose improvements in existing pipe fabrication, fittings and installation works.
Oversee pressure testing and leak test activities in accordance with specifications, codes and standards.
- Responsible for review of piping & plumbing related procedures and documents including test packs.
Carryout site inspection and surveys and prepare estimates.- Planning activities and ensure that all the resource and manpower planning is conducted to meet project requirements.
Review and prepare RFQ, MR, Technical evaluation of vendor proposal, vendor selection etc.
- Ensure that the workers are properly supplied with machineries, tools, equipment and materials and everything is in proper order and state of maintenance.
Perform inspections to ensure that the Foremen and Workers performance is up to the set standards.- Review and prepare progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to the Engineer or Lead /Manager i.e. resource shortfalls, surplus, HSEQ concerns.
Provide personnel appraisal and training requirement, motivate and develop subordinates.
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Piping related trainings
Presentation skills
10-12 years relevant experience in a recognized company as Supervisor /Engineer.
Must be an experienced engineer with knowledge and experience in Marine/ Offshore related piping and plumbing works.- Ability to review and comment blueprints, drawings and building plans to meet the needs of clients.
Ability to comment and edit on 2D drawings.
- Select and use appropriate measuring / testing devices.
Knowledge of appropriate engineering principles, techniques and procedures.- Knowledge of all sorts of modern plumbing systems like HDPE/PPR/UPVC/CPVC/COPPER piping.

Pay: AED10,- 00 - AED15,000.00 per month
