Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Planning Engineer at El-hesn Developments located in Damietta, Egypt. The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for daily production planning, project control, and utilizing analytical skills to optimize project timelines and resources. Effective communication with team members and stakeholders will be crucial in this role.
Responsibilities
- Plan the project execution, and prepare detailed look-ahead schedules based on the project schedule
- Maintain schedules and keep project resources on track and provide regular project updates.
- Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.
- Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule, advise and participate in project management in implementing the project's goals.
- Prepare work program, cash flow, and workforce histogram for projects.
- Prepare and submit updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress and identify areas of weakness and establish means and methods for recovery, if any, as well as new critical activities.
- Maintain and record updates of site work progress obtained from the Project Manager.
- Prepare reports such as weekly, Monthly, etc. reflecting work progress summary
- Report to the Project Manager about the current work progress, make a comparison between plan and actual progress, and study the impact of alternative approaches to work.
- Record and update all changes that might be issued during the project lifetime and report them immediately to project management.
- Make estimations for time scales and costs.
- Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the mainframe of the job's specialty.

- Experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of project management software
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- More than 4 years experience
