Senior Project Planning Engineer
Job Purpose:
- Responsible for preparing the project implementation plan, following up and solving the problems of the planning engineers in order to ensure that the project is implemented according to the plan.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify all changes that can affect projects in order to manage the project plan.
- Prepare project plans, including financial forecasts and cash flows in accordance with contracts, in order to work towards implementing the plan and complying with the planned budget.
- Periodically updates the project plan according to the changes that occur during implementation to ensure implementation according to the plan.
- Follow up on the implementation of the project plan and identifies deviations to ensure its conformity with the plan.
- Follow up on the implementation of corrective actions determined by senior management at the level of all projects to ensure compliance with them.
- Compile the data needed to prepare the project budget.
- Solve all problems facing planning engineers to ensure that all projects are implemented according to the plan.
- Participate in defining procedures and work guides for project management in order to ensure that they are standardized across all projects.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 4-7 years of experience in relevant field
- Experience in schedule development, monitoring, and reviewing.
- Significant experience with Primavera software (P6).
- Skilled in understanding technical processes, Engineering drawings.
- Good knowledge of working contracts.
- Advanced level of knowledge of Engineering, procurement, contracts.
- Strong Communication and Teamwork skills
- Strong Project Management skills
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient with MS Office Programs
