Owner and responsible of the process of creating a migration and modernization roadmap with customers. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensure the technical viability of new projects and successful deployments while orchestrating key resources and infusing key infrastructure technologies (Windows, Linux, IaaS, security, networking, etc.), and application development and DevOps technologies (containers, serverless, cloud-native, etc.) as appropriate.
Understand and influence the customer's requirements and evaluation criteria, position a consulting-led approach, engage with partners, and prepare the internal organization prior to RFP.
Understand the customer's objectives and requirements to position, create, and propose cloud solutions that meet customers objectives and requirements.
Maintain and develop relationships with clients, understand their needs, and produce proposals to address them.
Responsible of all proposal-related activities including defining the solution strategy, designing the right solution, obtaining solution validations, and proposal writing.
Provide cloud services and tools cost using estimation calculators.
Works closely with the sales team to qualify the opportunities from a technical perspective.
To be the central point of contact on architecture matters, liaising with FORTE CLOUD's different technical teams.
Provide architectural guidance for the Professional Services team and review the implementation of the proposed solutions, making sure it meets the customer goals.
Requirements
Bachelors (or equivalent Degree level) education in a technology field
Strong working knowledge of cloud solution architecture on top of AWS, Azure and GCP
Minimum of 5 years of experience of hands-on experience in Presales with at least 2 years of focus on cloud services and solutions as a Solution Architect.
Deep technology expertise of cloud solutions on top of AWS, Azure and GCP.
Good understanding of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS and cloud transformation concepts on top of AWS, Azure, GCP.
Knowledge of networks and security leading vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Trend Micro.
Knowledge of Machine Learning, Data Analytics and IoT technologies.
Knowledge of SAP ERP (ECC and S/4HANA).
Confident in working with a wide range of technologies and driving through strategic technology selections and designs.
Excellent interpersonal skills, proven ability in presenting and framing complex technology concepts within a strategic business context to non-technical audiences.
Self-sufficient, motivated, and well-organized, with a high level of personal integrity and a strong commercial acumen and awareness of business strategy and IT alignment.
Understanding of Software Application Architecture is a plus.
At least 2x associate level of public cloud certifications from AWS, Azure or GCP.
Clearly communicate & set expectations.
Ability to balance simultaneous projects, evaluate workload and prioritize tasks based on criticality.
