Job Description: Senior Presales Connectivity and Network Engineer

Position Summary:
The Senior Presales Connectivity and Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and presenting network and connectivity solutions for enterprise clients. Working closely with the sales and technical teams, the engineer will ensure the proposed solutions meet the customer's business and technical requirements, while leveraging NourNet's infrastructure and services. This role involves engaging with clients, leading technical meetings, developing proposals, and contributing to the sales cycle to achieve both technical and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design & Development:
- Collaborate with Account Managers and the technical team to design and build network and connectivity solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Develop connectivity and network solutions for enterprise networks, ensuring they align with industry standards and client requirements.
- Attend meetings with potential clients to collect and understand their technical and business requirements, ensuring the appropriate solution is built.
- Lead technical meetings with clients to gather information and understand their business constraints, translating these into fit-for-purpose solution designs using NourNet's portfolio and services.
- Proposal & Presentation:
- Deliver compelling technical and commercial proposals, ensuring they are competitive, cost-effective, and technically sound.
- Prepare and present solutions to customers, demonstrating how NourNet's services and products meet their specific business needs.
- Manage responses to RFIs (Request for Information) and RFPs (Request for Proposals), crafting suitable solutions based on client inputs and specifications.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Work with the sales team to sell technical solutions and services, contributing to the achievement of assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Ensure that the proposed solutions are competitive and tailored to meet the client's needs in both technical and commercial terms.
- Collaborate with vendors and distributors to build solutions, ensuring the correctness and validity of proposed solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Actively participate in the full sales cycle, coordinating with different departments (e.g., implementation, support, operations) to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Provide technical leadership and support throughout the sales process, ensuring that the solutions are delivered effectively and meet customer expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience:
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in network implementation.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Presales Engineer, specifically in network and connectivity solutions.
- Proven ability in requirements gathering, solution design, and solution building in a commercial setting.
- Technical Certifications:
- Cisco Certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP-ENCOR, CCDA) are highly advantageous.
- Fortinet Certifications (e.g., FCNSA & FCNSP) are preferred.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge in networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, and network security.
- In-depth working knowledge of TCP/IP v4 and a general understanding of TCP/IP v6.
- Strong technical background in designing Layer 2 and Layer 3 network architectures.
- Expertise in L3 VPNs, MPLS, BGP, SD-WAN, and other layer 2 and 3 technologies.
- Familiarity with hyperscale environments and their associated networking products (e.g., ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, Fast Connect).
- Understanding of cloud connectivity and cloud network security, as well as VM technologies related to cloud-based solutions.
- Additional Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
