JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Senior Process Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, optimizing, and managing industrial processes related to oil and gas pipelines. Your expertise will contribute to the safe and efficient transportation of hydrocarbons. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Design and Optimization: Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes for oil and gas pipelines.
- Engineering Studies: Participate in engineering and process design studies, addressing technical challenges associated with new processes and retrofitting existing refinery configurations.
- Financial Modeling: Perform financial modeling, cost estimates, and projections related to transport fuels and petrochemicals.
- Techno-Economic Analysis: Conduct techno-economic analysis and benchmark R&D projects against existing technologies.
- Carbon Footprint and Energy Efficiency: Analyze the carbon footprint and energy intensity of refining and petrochemical processes, suggesting improvements to reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy efficiency.
- Collaboration: Liaise with business proponents and engineering teams within the organization.
- Mentorship: Oversee the development of young engineers in your specialty area.
Qualifications:
- Master/Bachelor degree in Process Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience out of which min 05 years worked with GES+ Company in KSA, especially in Aramco's Pipeline Projects. [GES+ stands for General Engineering Services such as Worley, SLFE, KBR etc, these are the Engineering co. assigned by Aramco for Engineering services]
- Extensive experience in process engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of transport fuels, petrochemicals, and pipeline systems.
- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
