Responsibilities:
- Own the creation of end-to-end experiences, from inception to completion.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to define design solutions.
- Craft and deliver high-quality user interfaces, enhancing our product's design language.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of your area of focus and the broader business context.
- Mentor and support junior designers, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Lead and engage in brainstorming sessions to drive innovation.
- Present design projects to stakeholders, gathering valuable feedback.
- Ensure thorough design handoffs and follow up on implementations with developers.
- Conduct design and usability tests to refine user experiences.
- Actively contribute to building and maintaining an internal design system.
- Propose enhancements that align with our product and strategic direction.
- Play a role in shaping the design culture at deemples.
- Contribute to refining and enhancing our internal design processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years experience in designing digital experiences within a professional setting.
- A portfolio showcasing your work, highlighting strong visual skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in designing for iOS, Android, and Web platforms.
- Ability to deconstruct and simplify complex problems effectively.
- In-depth understanding of iOS and Android design language, system behavior, and platform standards.
- Advanced proficiency in design tools like Sketch or Figma.
- Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes using tools such as Principle, ProtoPie, or Origami.
- Comprehensive grasp of design principles and product development processes.
- Up-to-date with industry trends, news, and best practices in design.
- Extensive knowledge of design patterns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and experiences.
- Eagerness to learn and develop strong design leadership skills.
- Experience in working with and building Design Systems.
- Ideally, a background in computer science or a related field.
- Bonus points for experience in rapidly growing companies within the food delivery or on-demand service sectors.
