Job Description
This role is responsible for leading the strategic development and management of the organizations deposit product offerings. It involves analyzing market trends and customer needs to create competitive, innovation solutions that drive customer acquisition and retention. The staff will oversee product performance, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, this position collaborates with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to marketing, operations, front-line etc. to enhance product visibility and support the banks overall growth objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and emerging trends.
- Design and launch innovative deposit products that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Identify cross-sell and revenue generating opportunities.
- Financial planning; budgeting and financial performance monitoring and tracking of deposits.
- Coordinate with Treasury and Finance for revision of pricing of deposit products and devise forecasts and budgets.
- Introduce various customer campaigns to drive overall deposit growth.
- Introduce incentive campaigns for front-line staff such as Retail Liabilities Team, Employee Banking team and Virtual Relationship Managers to achieve sustainable deposit growth.
- Conduct trainings and awareness sessions to ensure customer facing staff have to up to date product and campaign knowledge.
- Collaborate with marketing to create effective promotional campaigns for deposit products.
- Ensure compliance and Shariah compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies for deposit products.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch and ongoing management post-launch.
- Work closely with operations and IT teams to ensure seamless product implementation and delivery.
- Provide insights and recommendations for pricing strategies and product enhancements.
- Manage customer complaints and ensure optimal customer satisfaction score.
- Lead a team to drive product initiatives and foster collaboration.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- Should have around 10 years Banking experience.
- 7+ years of Product /segment management experience.
- Sales and strategy experience and advantage
