The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with shop drawings review and construction supervision. To be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks completion.
Responsibilities
- Verify that the shop drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Ensure the shop drawings comply with the specifications and the project IFC drawings.
- Ensure the shop drawings are coordinated with other trades and systems, identifying any potential conflicts or discrepancies that might affect overall project execution.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback on the shop drawings, noting any concerns or required changes and ensuring that the notes are well-documented for future reference.
- Monitor and track revisions of the shop drawings to ensure that changes are properly incorporated and that updated submissions are reviewed promptly.
- Ensure that the shop drawings reflect the proper materials, dimensions, and methods of construction.
- Provide final approval of shop drawings for the construction, manufacturing, and installation processes, once all requirements are met and any issues are resolved
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architect Engineering or equivalent experience
Experiences
- 12+ years of experience as a Senior Project Engineer, Senior Site Engineer.
- Strong experience in Shop drawing review, and construction supervision.
