We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate projects within our tech and development teams. The ideal candidate will work closely with PHP and WordPress developers to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of web and software projects. The role requires an agile mindset, proficiency in Scrum, and a deep understanding of project management practices tailored to tech teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects within PHP and WordPress development teams.
- Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to organize and run regular sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular status updates and facilitating communication between team members.
- Ensure team productivity by removing obstacles and promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts in project management processes, ensuring the team works efficiently and productively.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager within tech teams, ideally in a PHP and WordPress development environment.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, with experience in Scrum.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects in a tech environment.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and handle tight deadlines.
- Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar.
- PMP, ScrumMaster, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with PHP, WordPress, and related web technologies.
- Basic understanding of development cycles, Git version control, and CI/CD processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
