WSP Middle East is looking for a Senior Public Relationship Officer_ (Saudi National) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This role will play a crucial role in managing WSP's relationships with government authorities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and handling various administrative and legal processes. This role will also support the team in resolving labor and visa-related issues, making it essential for the candidate to have a solid understanding of local labor laws and regulations.
Your new role, what's involved
- Company License & Registration: Manage and maintain all company licenses and registrations with relevant local authorities, ensuring timely renewals and compliance.
- Visa & Iqama Issues: Handle all visa and iqama-related issues for employees, ensuring smooth onboarding, renewals, and extensions as required.
- Qiwa Employment Contract Management: Manage the Qiwa system for employment contract registration, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Labor Cases: Assist in resolving any labor-related disputes or cases in accordance with Saudi labor laws and company policies.
- Labor Law Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Saudi labor laws and ensure the company's operations are fully compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Policy & Guidelines: Develop and maintain internal policies and guidelines related to employee management, visa processes, and government-related matters.
- Excel & Administrative Support: Provide hands-on support for documentation, reporting, and data management, utilizing advanced Excel skills.
- Communication & Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary point of contact between WSP and local government authorities, handling correspondence, approvals, and inquiries.
- Public Relations & Government Engagement: Enhance the company's reputation and visibility by managing relations with key government bodies and regulatory agencies.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Saudi National with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
- Min. 05 Years of Proven working experience in government relations, public affairs, or a similar role, preferably within the engineering, construction, or consulting industry.
- Sound knowledge of governmental structures, protocols, and regulatory processes in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with government officials and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi labor laws, visa, and iqama processes.
- Strong experience with Qiwa employment contract management and other regulatory platforms.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data management, reporting, and administrative tasks.
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills are a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive legal and regulatory issues with professionalism and discretion.
