Senior Quality Assurance -computer science

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, product management or relevant field.
• +4 years of experience as a QA engineer.
• Managerial experience preferred.
• High-level analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy and Planning:

- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans for both manual and automated testing.

- Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data based on functional and non-functional requirements.

• Automation:

- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, ensuring that they are efficient, scalable, and cover critical functionalities.

- Drive the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and delivery.

• Test Execution and Defect Tracking:

- Execute test cases, identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

- Perform root cause analysis on identified defects and provide detailed reports to the development team.

• Collaboration and Leadership:

- Act as a liaison between the QA team and other departments, ensuring clear communication of testing efforts, results, and potential risks.

- Contribute to QA team growth by leading training sessions, improving QA processes, and sharing best practices.

• Continuous Improvement:

- Analyze test results, metrics, and performance indicators to continuously improve testing strategies and processes.

- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing to ensure the adoption of innovative approaches.

• Risk Management and Compliance:

- Identify potential risks in software releases and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Ensure that all QA activities comply with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.
