What ACES is Looking For
ACES is looking for Senior Quality Assurance Officer to join the team in Qatar.
Job Summary:
Ensure implementation and maintenance of ACES Quality System. Interpret, build upon, and comply with company quality assurance standards. Maintain compliant and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions. Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits, develop new standards for operations, with improvements as needed, and create testing protocols for implementation across all service lines, identify training needs and take action to ensure company wide compliance, pursue continuing education on new solutions, technologies, and skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Quality Manager in the implementation of the Internal Audit Plan. Performs management and technical internal audits of the Quality Management system in accordance with the approved Audit Plan.
- Maintain the Register of Corrective and Preventive actions (CPARs), follow up with department managers on the timely submittal of root cause analysis and corrective actions for the review and approval by the Quality Manager.
- Assist the Quality Manager in the document control and quality records maintenance:
- Maintain a List of authorized users of quality management system documents, approved by the Quality Manager.
- Implement a controlled distribution of the new/revised quality documents to the authorized users.
- Withdrawal and archiving of the obsolete documents.
- Perform periodic checks of records archive.
- Under the approval of Quality Manager, planning and on-time implementation of the system for Internal Quality Control (IQC), including PTP studies. Maintains all IQC &PTP records including the evaluation reports. Initiates an investigation of nonconforming results.
- Update the test and measure equipment inventory database.
- Prepare schedules for internal and external calibrations and follows up their timely implementation with the assistance of the Quality Officer,
- Coordinate external calibrations with approved external providers. Maintains up to date calibration records.
- Coordinate with the department managers on the implementation of training and seminars plans, and on the staff authorization for accredited activities. Maintains authorization matrices of all departments.
- Coordinate with the IT Manager/Officer and the technical staff the verification of software used for test performance and reporting.
- Perform/Coordinate with the technical staff the uncertainty calculations for test and calibration results.
- Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Quality Management.
Reporting To:
This position will directly report to the Quality Department Manager/ Quality Section Head.
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or other scientific disciplines.
- Certified Internal Auditor ISO17025 or ISO9001 (ISO17025 is preferred).
- 2-4 years experience in Quality Related Matters with first-hand experience of ISO ISO17025/ISO9001.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- In-depth understanding of Quality Assurance Management Standards, including ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001.
- Knowledge of method validation and development techniques.
- Awareness of statistical analysis methods, including uncertainty calculations.
- Expertise in calibration procedures for measuring equipment.
- Proficiency in quality data analysis and statistics, including risk assessment and root cause analysis.
- Understanding of data management software systems, including OMS and LIMS.
- Strong ability to accurately interpret international standards and specifications.
- Proficient in handling and resolving complaints with a focus on quality standards.
- Skilled in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- Competent in method validation, development, and application of test methods.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for effective data management and presentations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including professional writing in English.
- Capability to conduct internal audits and assessments in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Ability to handle and address client and team complaints with professionalism.
