Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide cost management and quantity surveying services throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction to project completion.
- Develop and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Monitor progress, assess variations, and provide cost control recommendations.
- Perform value engineering exercises and cost analysis to ensure optimal project outcomes
- Manage and report on project costs, including tracking expenditure, identifying risks, and advising on cost.
- Assist in dispute resolution and claims management, ensuring compliance with contracts and legislation
- Provide expert advice on contract interpretation, variations, and claims management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project teams.
Education & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Preferred infrastructure experience.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
