Job Description

JOB PROFILE/MISSION:

To attract and retain top talent by implementing effective recruitment strategies, enhancing employer branding, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cultural values.

BRIEF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:

  • Manage recruitment processes to attract and onboard qualified candidates.
  • Develop and implement efficient recruitment strategies and policies.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
  • Build relationships with candidates, agencies, and universities.
  • Stay updated on recruitment trends and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to talent acquisition strategy and employer branding.
  • Use job boards, social media, and referrals to find potential candidates.
  • Define job requirements and develop descriptions with hiring managers.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess qualifications and fit.
  • Schedule interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidates and generate reports.
  • Advise hiring managers on interview techniques and selection criteria.
  • Negotiate and extend job offers following compensation guidelines.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new hires to ensure smooth integration.
  • Maintain organized recruitment records and generate reports.

REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR THE POSITION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications or professional qualifications in recruitment or talent acquisition are a plus
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist or similar role, with a track record of successfully filling various positions across different levels and functions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and diversity and inclusion principles.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant recruitment tools and platforms.
