BRIEF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
- Manage recruitment processes to attract and onboard qualified candidates.
- Develop and implement efficient recruitment strategies and policies.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
- Build relationships with candidates, agencies, and universities.
- Stay updated on recruitment trends and legal requirements.
- Contribute to talent acquisition strategy and employer branding.
- Use job boards, social media, and referrals to find potential candidates.
- Define job requirements and develop descriptions with hiring managers.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess qualifications and fit.
- Schedule interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed.
- Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidates and generate reports.
- Advise hiring managers on interview techniques and selection criteria.
- Negotiate and extend job offers following compensation guidelines.
- Facilitate onboarding for new hires to ensure smooth integration.
- Maintain organized recruitment records and generate reports.
REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR THE POSITION:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications or professional qualifications in recruitment or talent acquisition are a plus
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist or similar role, with a track record of successfully filling various positions across different levels and functions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a customer service-oriented approach.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and diversity and inclusion principles.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant recruitment tools and platforms.
