Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Red Hat OpenShift Implementation Engineer to join our team as a freelancer. You will design, implement, and manage OpenShift environments for clients, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities:
- Design & Implement: Architect and deploy OpenShift solutions tailored to client needs.
- Consult & Plan: Work with clients to provide expert guidance and develop implementation plans.
- Maintain & Optimize: Monitor and optimize OpenShift environments for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices and conduct regular assessments.
- Support & Troubleshoot: Provide ongoing support and resolve issues promptly.
- Document & Report: Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide regular status updates.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in implementing and managing Red Hat OpenShift environments.
- Skills: Proficiency in OpenShift, Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), scripting (Bash, Python), and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
- Experience with OpenShift Service Mesh and OpenShift Virtualization.
- Previous consulting or client-facing experience.
