Senior Red Hat OpenShift Solutions Architect

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Red Hat OpenShift Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and related technologies along with extensive expertise in Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM), Advanced Cluster Security (ACS), OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF), Quay, and DevOps tools. This role requires a deep understanding of containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies, coupled with exceptional problem-solving abilities, particularly in troubleshooting network and security issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, implementation, and management of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform solutions for our clients, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance on integrating OpenShift with automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices to automate deployment processes and accelerate application delivery.

- in-depth knowledge of best practice around developing microservices architectures, Dockers, the software containerization technology, and platform.

- in-depth experience in OpenShift Platform Plus

- Utilize extensive experience in troubleshooting application landscapes, including OpenShift Virtualization Networking (OVN) and OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF), to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

- Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting at various levels, including cluster infrastructure, Operators, Pods, and Events, to ensure optimal performance and reliability of OpenShift environments.

- Operate and manage large-scale OpenShift clusters, implementing best practices for cluster management, resource optimization, and capacity planning.

- Collaborate with clients and project teams to implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD, ensuring efficient software delivery and release management.

- Apply knowledge and experience with Container Storage Interface (CSI) to effectively manage and provision storage resources within OpenShift clusters.

- Implement and configure service mesh solutions to enhance visibility, security, and resilience of microservices-based applications running on OpenShift.

- Utilize monitoring tools to implement comprehensive monitoring and observability solutions for OpenShift clusters.

- Configure and manage logging infrastructure to centralize and analyze logs generated by applications and services deployed on OpenShift.

- Good knowledge of the Ansible automation tool, and familiarity with Red Hat or Open-Source Middleware Solutions is a plus.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the same field

- RedHat Certified Architect OpenShift Infrastructure (RHCA).
