Technical competencies: Strong experience in reservoir management and field development, integrated subsurface studies and reservoir simulation. Experience with Enhance Oil Recovery mechanisms is highly appreciated.
Job Requirements, Main Activities:
- To carry out all aspects of reservoir management activities including field development, performance evaluation, data acquisition, strategic surveillance, and monitoring master plans to ensure optimal development.
- To carry out pattern balancing and to ensure efficient production and injection process to maximize the vertical and lateral sweep efficiency. Lead, design and participate in integrated field reviews and field development plans (RMP considering the current wells and planned infill wells).
- To design and lead the implementation of the project surveillance programs including pressure transient surveys, tracer surveys, interference testing, observation well placement and cased hole logging programs.
- To recommend reservoir areas and programs for pilot studies of various oil recovery enhancement techniques.
- To present fully justified proposals for field trials of various techniques, such as water or gas injection methods, acid fractures or additional performance.
- To monitor results over scheduled trial life and to report findings and recommendations to other team members outlining estimated impact of enhancement on the field or reservoir.
- To conduct reservoir simulations studies designed to define optimum full field reservoir development plans (primary, secondary, tertiary depletion scenarios, including EOR).
- To work within an inter-disciplinary team to build and quality control the dynamic model. Integrate SCAL, core analyses, PVT data and geological models during the development of integrated models for full field development plans.
- To ensure the quality, traceability and reporting of the reservoir simulation studies to ensure the sustainability of the reservoir models. Conduct analytical and phenomenological studies, if necessary, as alternative justification to presented studies.
- General responsibility to respect company HSE guidelines and practices, with a strong focus to lead environment and community initiatives in the areas where the company operates.
Minimum Requirements & Qualification:
- Level of education: Masters degree in Geosciences and/or Reservoir Engineering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency (speaking, writing, and reading) in English language
- 10 years experience in Reservoir Management and Reservoir Simulation
- Proficiency in Windows XP, Microsoft Office package (Planningetc.).
- Curiosity in IT (tools etc.)
