JASARA PMC is looking for a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our dynamic team. As a collaborative joint venture involving the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Jacobs, and Saudi Aramco, we strive to deliver exceptional social infrastructure programs across Saudi Arabia. The Senior Risk Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing risk management across a number of projects within a Sub-District. This includes the implementation of the risk policy, standards and processes, lead the capture of risks and opportunities and associated mitigations across the organisation and support the integration with suppliers and interfacing parties.
The Risk Manager will also be responsible for risk solutions and their integration with cost management, scheduling, reporting and change management. They will act as the focal point for the risk community and foster close working relationships with the functional Office of District Owner (ODO) Risk managers who are responsible for district risk management process, quality and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the implementation of risk processes and systems that support the requirements of delivering the projects within a Sub-District or District within Qiddiya
- Work closely with the delivery teams, senior leadership teams, and other stakeholders to assess the risk profile of Qiddiya and develop risk management plans accordingly
- Conduct regular risk assessments with the appropriate risk and mitigation action owners to ensure pro-active risk management and monitor risk exposure across the organization
- Aggregate all risk data to generate the district Risk Registers and other reports as may be required
- Ensuring data flows and reporting information is assured and working efficiently throughout the project hierarchy
- Facilitates the QRA risk quantification and modeling process and produces output report
- Review submitted Contractor Risk Management Plans and Risk Analysis and manage quality of output
- Actively lead continuous improvement of the processes & systems
- Provide guidance and training to employees on risk management practices and procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to risk management
- Develop and maintain risk management dashboards and reports to communicate risk exposure and mitigation efforts to senior management
Requirements
- Degree in a related subject area and 10+ years of related work experience, including significant managerial experience of a large group of senior discipline leads and technical support personnel. MBA or related MSc degree is desirable
- Requires experience delivering risk management on major programmes and experience designing processes and system solutions. An excellent communicator and collaborator who is comfortable at engaging at all levels in an organisation and across the supply chain. Software knowledge of ARM, Safran, P6, RISKONNECT, PRA or @RISK.
- Proven ability to manage a large group of senior technical personnel, the ability to drive excellence in field of expertise, focusing on safety, quality and improvement of processes, mentoring, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.
- Must also demonstrate the ability to effectively execute and manage complex tasks.
- Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific software.
- Must be capable of conducting focused briefings to all levels of management. This includes effective problem solving and exercising excellent judgment regarding timing and senior management involvement in significant issues.
