We're seeking a skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team and play a key role in advancing our backend systems. Collaborate with a talented engineering team to develop features, maintain high code quality, and deliver an exceptional experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead architecture, design, and development of new features for Ruby on Rails applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and operations to deliver solutions that meet user needs.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Optimize application performance for scalability, especially within complex backend systems and high-traffic APIs.
- Implement secure, reliable, and maintainable code.
- Take ownership of end-to-end product development, from concept to deployment and monitoring.
- Work with our stack, including PostgreSQL, Graphiti, and RabbitMQ, to maintain and enhance backend architecture.
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL, including complex query optimization.
- Experience in API design and development, ideally with Graphiti or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with messaging brokers such as RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to work with Docker.
- Understanding of security best practices and scalable system design.
Preferred Skills- Familiarity with frontend technologies for effective collaboration with frontend teams.
- Experience with mobile app integration is a plus.
