Job Title: AEM Senior Software Engineer (SSE)
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled AEM Senior Software Engineer with over 5 years of experience in developing modern AEM 6.5 solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of AEM Technology-Stack and hands-on experience in implementing large-scale software platforms. Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM SDK/AMS is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain customer-facing Adobe solutions using AEM.
- Implement caching strategies, design patterns, and ensure optimal memory utilization, performance, and security for delivered components and services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions within AEM.
- Design and implement AEM components, templates, and workflows using Sling, JCR, CRX, OSGi, HTL, Touch UI, Core Components, Workflows, Multi Site Manager, Editable templates, Content fragments, XF, and AEM assets.
- Integrate components and templates using CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Node.js/Angular (experience in this area is a plus).
- Utilize Git and associated workflows for version control, and manage builds using Maven/NPM.
- Ensure seamless integration of Maven with UI frontend builds for efficient development workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in developing modern AEM 6.5 solutions.
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or development using AEM SDK and/or AMS is preferred.
- Expertise in AEM Technology-Stack including Sling, JCR, CRX, OSGi, HTL, Touch UI, Core Components, Workflows, Multi Site Manager, Editable templates, Content fragments, XF, and AEM assets.
- Familiarity with caching strategies, design patterns, memory utilization, performance optimization, and security best practices in AEM.
- Proficiency in integrating frontend technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, and Angular (desirable).
- Strong understanding of Git for version control and Maven/NPM for builds.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service or AEM development using AEM SDK/AMS.
- Knowledge of Maven integration with UI frontend builds.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in AEM projects.
