We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Engineer with extensive magento experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining Magento-based e-commerce applications, a deep understanding of PHP and Magento frameworks, and the ability to work on complex projects.

You will be instrumental in designing and implementing high-quality e-commerce solutions that meet the needs of our clients and customers.

Here's a snapshot of what your responsibilities would include:

• Developing, testing, and maintaining robust, scalable, high-quality Magento e-commerce applications and services.
• Customizing and extending Magento functionality using PHP and Magento's APIs.
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing Magento applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of Magento applications.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Magento best practices.
• Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentoring and guiding junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Staying updated with emerging trends and technologies in Magento and e-commerce development and apply them to projects as appropriate.
• Working closely with product managers, designers, QA team and other stakeholders to deliver project requirements on time.
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation related to Magento development.

Your skills would include:

• Strong proficiency in PHP and Magento frameworks (e.g., Laravel).
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Proficiency in database design and management with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with the indexing concepts and elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of GraphQL & RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in PHP development.
• 4+ years of experience with Magento development.
• Magento certification (e.g., Magento Certified Developer).
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Previous experience in a mentoring role.
