orbit is excited to partner with an exceptional award-winning fintech start-up based in the UAE. Our client is embarking on a dynamic growth trajectory and is seeking outstanding talent to own their web platform and contribute towards building a world-class engineering team.
Having established a robust foundation for their product, they are now seeking an individual to spearhead the development of innovative features, fortify their technology for scalability, and contribute to shaping an engineering organization that attracts top talent from across the region. As an integral member of a fast-paced team, you will play a key role, the ideal candidate is a creative thinker excited to solve hard problems and to build something from the ground up.
At Senior level you'll get a high degree of autonomy in owning their web platform, which is fast becoming their most used. You'll be involved in positioning the web platform as the main platform for use as they scale in the region, enhancing their APIs and building SDKs along with cool widgets to embed in customer sites, plus more.
What will you be doing
- Collaborate with elite product, design, operations, and engineering teams to identify features and solutions that drive value for the business and enhance user experience.
- Lead the end-to-end development of reliable, scalable, and maintainable software to safeguard user funds and ensure longevity. You will guide features from conception through implementation, refinement, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Design and construct superior web experiences that captivate both their customers and engineers, fostering a foundation for further innovation.
- Engage in all stages of the development process, from initial code inception to deployment, monitoring, and beyond.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to fellow engineers within the team.
- Contribute to shaping our engineering culture by advocating for best practices and fostering knowledge sharing.
