We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Senior Solution Architect to work with one of our clients on a long-term project in Doha, Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed architectural designs and roadmaps, logical and physical landscapes for platforms and solutions, ensuring they meet both current and future business requirements
- Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technologies and platforms to meet business needs
- Develop and oversee end-to-end IT architecture strategies and solutions that align with business goals
- Present architectural proposals to senior management and stakeholders, addressing any concerns and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Exhibit technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with senior management, business stakeholders, and government entity IT teams to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
- Oversee the execution of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired quality standards.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of ongoing projects, providing feedback and guidance to ensure successful delivery.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process and technology improvements, driving innovation within the organization.
- Knowledge of current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the business and technology landscape.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises infrastructure. In-depth knowledge in API management and life cycle
- In depth knowledge in micro-services architecture
- Proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Python).
- Experience with database management systems, middleware, and integration technologies.
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related technical field) / Master's degree preferred
- Ideally TOGAF Certified
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate Level, Professional Level) / Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Google Professional Cloud Architect
