Senior Sourcing Manager

The Senior Sourcing Manager is responsible for coordinating, planning, coaching and directing the work of the Sourcing Buyers within the APMEA region.They are responsible for the delegation of source to contract events to their direct reports and for ensuring the pipeline of source to contract work is rolled out effectively. The individual in this position will focus on personal, professional development for leadership skills, including talent development and coaching. They're also expected to have significant procurement experience and experience of managing a high performing team.

Key responsibilities include:
Leading the day-to-day management of the APMEA Sourcing Buyers
Driving adoption & consistency of the source to contract process
Providing training and guidance to Sourcing Buyers in alignment with company values
Ensuring the team execute against clear sourcing activity calendar in place with aligned key stakeholders
Influencing and becoming a trusted advisor for the correct sourcing to contract process
Being a point of escalation for the Sourcing Buyers.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
5 to 7 years of experience of running large scale source to contract events
Experience in leading and managing a high performing team
Strong experience in e-procurement systems and knowledge of functionality
Proven experience of running source to contract programmes, ideally within large scale organisations
Previously implemented a source to contract program in multiple countries with cross currencies
Eye for detail, high level of data accuracy and can clearly influence at senior stakeholder level
Strong planning, project management, reporting skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience of leading training of cross functional teams
Ability to implement processes and programs, identify roadblocks and escalate appropriately
Ability to deploy resource at pace and flex to live inside changing deliverables or client considerations
