Job Purpose:
The role holder are experts to do contracts between their company and its clients and will facilitate in negotiating and creating contracts providing a beneficial solution for both the company and the client. Also, assist in defining the service level agreements for the services provided by the outsourcing party, validating the outsourcing performance management reports, processing penalties and incentives, incorporating adjustments to the SLAs, and processing IT contract change, contract renewal and termination requests in-line with established policies and standard operating procedures. The responsibility includes supporting the Manager, IT Contract Management, to ensure the process in place and that the contracts deliver to the defined KPIs and continually improve contract performance in liaison with other IT functions.
Key Accountabilities:
- The role holder is responsible for the activities related to IT contracts like ensuring review, renewal and closure.
- Also, responsible to provide the inputs on incentives, earn back and penalties, etc. as per input from other IT Functions.
- Support the Manager, IT Contract & Vendor Management in ensuring that validation is in place for the outsourcing performance management report against the defined SLA and to identify variance and communicate those results to the IT Leadership, prior to the Service Review Meetings.
- Adjust the SLA as per the agreement between Outsourcing Party and IT Leadership in the Service Review Meetings in coordination with the Manager, IT Contract & Vendor Management.
- Support the Manager, IT Contract & Vendor Management in getting the required approvals on the adjusted SLAs from the IT Leadership as well as the Outsourcing party and notify the relevant stakeholders of the approved adjustments.
- Receive and review the request for IT contract change and assess if the proposed contract changes require changes to the service portfolio, in consultation with the Manager, IT Contract & Vendor Management.
- Coordinate with the Procurement team to develop IT contract amendments in consultation with the Manager, IT Contract & Vendor Management and support the Manager, IT Contract & Vendor Management in renegotiating the contract with the Outsourcing Party.
- Support to identify the contracts reaching expiry and coordinate with the Manager, IT Contract & Vendor Management to support the IT Leadership in determining if IT is planning to continue working with the existing outsourcing party.
- Prepare the document for notice of termination and share with the Manager, IT Contract Management to help terminate the contract.
- Support the Manager, IT Contract Management to help renew the contract
- Contribute to the preparation of IT Contract Management related reports for the management, auditors, etc. as per the directions of the Director, IT Strategies & Architecture or Manager, IT Contract & Vendor Management.
- Perform any additional responsibilities passed on by the Director, IT Strategies & Architecture or Manager, IT Contract & Vendor Management as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor level degree in IT or Business Management from an internationally recognized institution
- ITIL certification or similar is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Min 4-6 years of experience in IT and IT Contract Management or other relevant IT functional areas.
