Senior Staff Devops Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect , design & implement self managed Kubernetes clusters , following the security best practices .
• Support & maintain self managed Kubernetes cluster , and work with development team to solve any issue related to environment
• Design and implement CI pipelines , including automated testing and security scanning
• Apply gitops principles & IAC
• Implement CD process using ArgoCD and Gitlab
• automate infrastructure operations such as provisioning infrastructure , configuring servers and patching
• implement self service portal as a dashboard to run ansible playbooks

Job Requirements:

• 6 years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• valid CKA certification is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education in a related discipline.
• RHEL & Centos Linux OS administration skills
• Good understanding of branching model and experience in working with GIT
• Good understanding of DevOps and GitOps principles & software development life cycle
• Experience in creating , maintaining and troubleshot CI/CD pipelines using gitlab-ci or other similar tools ( Jenkins tekton .. etc )
• Experience in managing CD using ArgoCD or other similar tools
• Experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible & Teraform
• Experience with Kubernetes & Docker installation and administration
• Knowledge of Highly available architecture design concept
• Development skills is a plus
• Knowledge of OpenShift Installation & Administration is a plus
• knowledge of IBM cloud pack for integration is a plus
• knowledge of IBM cloud pack for automation is a plus
