Job purpose
The employee is requested to be part of a team that designs, configures, develops, integrates, tests, implements, documents, and supports the storage infrastructure ecosystem. The candidate works with different teams to explain requirements and suggest the appropriate storage systems and backup solutions and procedures.
Skills and responsibilities:
- Strong verbal, written communications skills, spreadsheet capability and other project management applications for reporting, tracking charts, checklists and project scheduling
- Strong business skills and financial management experience
- Strong Soft Skills for working within a Customer's potentially political culture
- Data storage or systems management experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with, and to lead and motivate other employees in a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined timelines
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and people
- Working understanding of ITIL
- WFA, Installation, Automation, Commvault IntelliSnap for NetApp(formerly SnapProtect),Installation, Administration, Troubleshooting, AltaVault and SteelStore, Appliance Installation and Configuration, Management Console configuration, Backup application configuration, StorageGRID, Webscale installation and configuration, cDOT Migration, Discovery, design, architecture, planning and deployment of 7mode to cDOT migration efforts
Certifications ( MUST HAVE at least one)
- NetApp Certified Storage Installation Engineer (NCSIE)
- NetApp Certified Support Engineer (NCSE)
- NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE)
- NetApp Certified Data Management Administrator (NCDA)
- NetApp Accredited Installation Professional (NAIP)
