We are seeking a highly organized and proactive
Senior Storekeeper to manage our store operations within the factory in Mussafah. The ideal candidate will optimize costs, ensure quality and delivery standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your responsibilities:
- Oversee store operations, focusing on cost optimization, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
- Manage materials and inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, supporting production with timely release of raw materials and consumables.
- Receive and inspect deliveries for quantity and damage; collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams for reliable material delivery.
- Maintain records of material receipts and issuances for Interior Fit-out and Joinery production.
- Uphold QHSE standards in all storage areas and utilize ERP systems for accurate inventory management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage budget-related spending.
- Maintain physical inventory and define safety stock levels to avoid production delays.
- Prepare Bills of Materials to control raw material and consumable usage.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role within a joinery factory.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and ERP systems.
- Proficient in using basic MS office and email writing
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills
