Job Purpose
- Providing expert HR support, advice and service to the various Groups within NBK, and ensuring the NBK HR agenda is delivered within the Bank.
- Implementation of HR initiatives into various groups within the bank ensuring alignment with overall NBK Group strategies.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Manage the NBK Talent Agenda:
- Provide selection input for High-fliers and future leaders programs.
- Effective delivery of talent initiatives into the business (Talent reviews, employee voice,etc).
- Ensure the sustainability of talent programs through follow up on development plans, facilitate career discussions, manage rotation activities and deliver workshops for example.
- Ensure timely talent reviews and career discussions to take place annually.
Support the Continuous Improvement of Organizational and Individual Performance:
- Drive the performance management process within the business.
- Provide training and coaching to the business during the performance process to ensure business wide implementation and standardization.
- Provide expert advice and support the business around all performance management related matters.
- Ensure balance exists between business targets and behavioral measure to drive change in the business.
HR Consulting and Change Management:
- Provide on-going support and coaching in the business regarding management development.
- Support talent management and provide input to the delivery of sustainable management development initiatives.
- Provide HR solutions that will help business identify changes that are required to enhance individual as well as team performance (e.g. 360 feedback surveys).
- Act as personal advisors to line managers in all HR disciplines and best practices.
Delivery of HR services efficiently and effectively:
- Create an environment within HR to facilitate the effective delivery of services.
- Contribute to the development and transformation of HR team to deliver effective HR services.
- Provide expert advice and support to the business around all HR matters.
- Continuously facilitate development and communication workshops to enhance the quality of communication between the staff and management across all the business areas.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant Bachelor's degree (Commerce and Human Resources).
- 7 years relevant experience within HR and preferably the financial services industry within MENA region exposure beneficial.
