Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced technician to join our team specialising in ATVs, UTVs, on-road motorcycles, and off-road motorcycles (100cc to 1000cc vehicles) . The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for power-sports vehicles. Responsibilities include diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition for our customers enjoyment and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks on ATVs, UTVs, on-road motorcycles, and off-road motorcycles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues including engine, transmission, electrical, and brake systems.
- Inspect vehicles to identify worn or damaged parts that require replacement.
- Test vehicles to ensure repairs are complete and meet safety standards.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications for repairs and maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
- Stay current with industry advancements and technical literature.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training or certification in automotive or powersports technology is preferred.
- Proven experience as a technician working with ATVs, UTVs, on-road motorcycles, and off-road motorcycles.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and vehicles (up to 50 pounds).
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Yamaha, Honda, Polaris).
- Familiarity with computerised diagnostic systems.
- Motorcycle driving license would be an added benefit.
