We are seeking two senior system engineers who are highly talented and possess a wealth of experience in reverse osmosis (RO) desalination systems. These individuals will be responsible for the supervision of innovative projects that integrate our cutting-edge technologies. This role will focus on enhancing the sustainability and efficiency of our RO desalination facilities, offering a thrilling opportunity to collaborate with and acquire knowledge about our innovative reverse electrodialysis (RED) technology. Comprehensive training will be provided to improve your proficiency in RED. We prioritize the development of strong communication skills in order to facilitate effective collaboration with internal teams and consumers.
One will be located in Bangkok, Thailand, while the other will be in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Core Responsibilities
Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, present tailored technical solutions, and ensure smooth integration of advanced technologies into existing RO systems.
- System Design: Develop and refine engineering designs for RO desalination plants, incorporating innovative solutions and client feedback.
- Process Modelling & Simulation: Utilize advanced simulation tools to optimize RO system performance, with a focus on improving energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Component Selection & Integration: Carefully select and integrate pumps, membranes, energy recovery devices, and control systems to enhance RO system performance.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses to evaluate system efficiency, brine management, and overall performance improvements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with process engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports and design documentation that capture system specifications and project progress.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Project management experience is a plus
Experience
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the design and operation of RO desalination systems.
- A thorough comprehension of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and process engineering is required [considered advantageous].
Communication
- Fluent in English, Thai and Arabic
Technical Competencies & Skills
- Proficiency in process modelling software (Aspen Plus, GPROMS, etc.) is a plus.
- Proficiency in the selection of hydraulic components and hydraulic design.
- Proficiency in control logic and electrical systems (PLC/SCADA) is advantageous.
- Proficient in communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Possessing strong interpersonal skills to facilitate effective client interactions.
