Role Description

This is a remote role for a Senior Translator at Science and Ink. As a Senior Translator, you will be responsible for translating various documents across different disciplines. Your day-to-day tasks will involve accurately and efficiently translating written content, proofreading and editing translations for accuracy and clarity, collaborating with other team members to ensure consistency and quality, and using translation software and tools.

Qualifications

• Excellent proficiency in multiple languages, particulary Arabic and English, with expert knowledge of translation techniques and tools
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and a strong ability to conduct research for accurate translation
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within strict deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with translation software and tools
• Relevant certifications or degrees in translation or related fields
• Experience in graphic design and formatting of publications is a plus
