Senior UI/UX Designer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic brand team at Arada. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the digital experiences that our users interact with daily across various platforms, bringing to life the Arada and its asset brands identity. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, infusing innovative ideas and compelling storytelling into every digital touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

User-Centered Design: Play a pivotal role in crafting intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences that align with user needs and business objectives. Bridge the gap between aesthetics and functionality, ensuring that our products, websites, and apps not only look good but also provide seamless and enjoyable user experiences.

Design Leadership: As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding the design process from concept to launch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-centered design solutions, leveraging industry best practices, user research insights, and data-driven decision-making, and reporting on UX design activities.

Design Execution: Create innovative wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions. Utilize your expertise in design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) to produce high-quality design assets. Knowledge of Front-End-Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Design System Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all digital products.

Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate design rationale, decisions, and progress to stakeholders at all levels, including designers, developers, product managers, and executives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest design trends, technologies, and industry best practices. Share knowledge and insights with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a reputable university in computer science, digital design/media, web design, or a related discipline.

9+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional digital experiences.

Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and prototyping tools.

A deep understanding of user-centered design principles, including user research, usability testing, and information architecture.

Experience working with design systems and component libraries.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A passion for creating innovative and user-friendly digital experiences.

A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, from concept to launch.
