Roles
- Provision, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix servers in production, UAT and development environments
- Analyzes and resolves problems associated with the operating system's servers, hardware, applications, and software issues .
- Monitor, Detects, diagnoses, and reports UNIX/Linux related problems on servers.
- Perform upgrades and integrations to existing systems and related application.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Bash, Python, and Ansible playbooks/modules .
- In-depth knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration concepts, including kernel, networking, storage, and security.
- Good knowledges and experiences in Oracle Exadata, OVM SPARC, OVM for intel, Kubernetes and Ansible Automation.
- Working with Oracle Infrastructure products, in particular Oracle Engineered Systems including Exadata.
- Knowledge and experience is associated storage options, ZFS Storage appliance, ZFS Storage-Pool - Knowledge on implementing and maintaining related Oracle products: Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Grid Infrastructure, Enterprise Manager OEM, Grid Control, Oracle VM / KVM.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Implement and maintain security best practices to protect systems and containers.
