We are recruiting for a highly Qualified and determined individual to join our client who are a globally recognised LNG infrastructure company. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to lead the company's commercial strategy and play a pivotal role in shaping its continued growth and success.
What will you be doing
As the Senior Vice President Commercial (SVP Commercial), you will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive and refreshed commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in LNG terminals and LNG infrastructure projects.
- Lead a business development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the LNG/oil and gas sector.
- Cultivate Strong relationships with existing and potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
- Oversee contract negotiations and provide strategic guidance on optimizing terms and conditions to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with project management teams to ensure the successful and timely execution of LNG terminal and EPC projects.
- Engage with government agencies and regulatory bodies, representing the company's interests while navigating regulatory challenges.
- Manage financial oversight, working closely with the finance team on forecasts, budgets, and performance analysis to drive cost optimisation and revenue growth.
- Lead, mentor, and Inspire a high-performing commercial team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Are you the ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will be:
- Qualified with an MBA in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- A leader with a proven track record of senior leadership in business development/commercial roles in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on LNG terminals, FSRUs or LNG EPC projects.
- Experienced in developing and executing successful commercial strategies within the LNG sector.
- Strong in business acumen, negotiation skills, and financial expertise.
- Technical understanding of FSRUs, LNG terminal design, construction, and operations.
- Equipped with an extensive network of industry contacts and relationships.
- Motivated and Focused on driving business development and revenue growth.
