Job Description:
The SEO Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, managing their SEO projects and ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded. This role emphasizes building client relationships, coordinating projects, and monitoring and presenting SEO performance insights. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Communication: Act as the main liaison between the client and the internal team, maintaining regular contact to update clients on project progress, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Report Presentation: Prepare and deliver detailed reports on SEO performance, including traffic, rankings, and other key metrics. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of SEO campaigns. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and meet client objectives.
- Account Management: Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and ensuring the SEO strategy aligns with their objectives.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with SEO specialists to develop tailored SEO strategies that meet client needs and drive measurable results.
- Issue Resolution: Identify potential challenges or areas for improvement and proactively address them to ensure client satisfaction.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, tools, and best practices to provide clients with up-to-date advice and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a client-facing role, preferably within a digital marketing or SEO-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and the ability to translate complex SEO concepts into clear, client-friendly language.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in report writing and presentation.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) and the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage client expectations.
- Certification in SEO or digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads) is a plus.
