Job Summary: IT Application support will handle the tickets issued related to applications through the ticketing system.
Job Tasks:
- Follow all relevant IT development procedures and instructions so that work and documentation is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Implement the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the IT Development to ensure continuity of work improvement.
- Understand and analyse data, and translate into technical requirements as needed to facilitate development of modules / applications / software.
- Validate business requirements versus the implementation capabilities and solution constraints to ensure feasibility.
- Produce the proper application literature that serves functional traceability needs.
- Engage in planning and development activities in the software life cycle to understand business requirements and technical capabilities / limitations.
- Create applications / relatively more complex codes and scripts / customize larger add-on programmes in accord with the project plan.
- Develop test scenarios/scripts and test the programming to ensure that it meets Quality, security and outcome objectives and standards.
- Report and monitor software bugs to the development team and confirm closure.
- Write complete documentation recording work to ensure preservation of data / requirements / needs.
- Assist in training junior staff and end users to ensure full understanding of applications usage.
- Offer application level technical consultancy while implementing/modifying automated processes within specific systems to make sure implementation/variations are done without disruption, efficiently, and in accordance with needs.
Education & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor degree in IT / Computer Science (Optional For Oracle Support)
- Certificate ITIL Foundation, PMP certificate /diploma is a plus
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience
