Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow ITOM Specialist with experience in ITAM (IT Asset Management) integration to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM solutions, with a focus on integrating ITOM with ITAM for streamlined operations and improved service visibility. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the optimization of IT infrastructure and asset management processes, leading to more efficient and reliable business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions to support IT operations management, including Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, Orchestration, and Cloud Management.
- Experienced with ITOM and ITAM modules to create seamless workflows that improve the management of IT assets and operational processes.
- Configure and maintain CMDB (Configuration Management Database) ensuring accurate data for both ITOM and ITAM.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy ITOM services that meet business needs, while ensuring the alignment with ITAM processes.
- Lead the configuration and customization of ServiceNow ITOM applications such as Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform.
- Provide expert advice on best practices for ITOM and ITAM integration, including automation and optimization strategies.
- Support ServiceNow platform upgrades and enhancements, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Create and maintain documentation, including design specifications, technical guides, and user training materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow ITOM solutions (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management).
- Proven experience with ServiceNow ITAM modules and integration of ITOM and ITAM solutions.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in CMDB management and data integrity practices.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and cloud-based monitoring solutions.
- Experience in automation and orchestration tools within ServiceNow.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- ServiceNow certifications in ITOM or ITAM are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, and Python.
- Experience with third-party integrations to ServiceNow (e.g., monitoring tools, CMDB sync tools).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
