30783 SHEQ DIVISION MANAGER
At
Eni, we are looking for a
Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Manager within our Branch in
Qatar. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the OES HSEQ management system, procedures and programs, and ensuring the effective and efficient implementation of risk controls and mitigation measures. You will build the OES HSEQ division, identifying the required expertise and competencies to sustain operations of the new facilities.
As a member of the Operations Expansion & Start Up Department, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the implementation and sustainment of Safety, Health, Environmental and Security requirements for all CAT I-II-III and 3rd Party Projects, including worker welfare throughout project lifecycle, and facilitating smooth transition into sustainable producing asset.
- Overseeing recruitment campaigns and ensuring development of a highly competent motivated workforce.
- Coordinating interface between LNG Corporate HSEQ and Projects SHES to identify and communicate changes in corporate policies and procedures and Qatari regulations that may be applicable to CAT I-II-III and 3rd Party Projects.
- Supporting risk management activities and workshops, including the development and implementation of suitable and effective risk control and mitigation measures for environmental, health and safety, and security risks, including but not limited to: ESHIA study implementation, Construction SHES risk assessments, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and SIMOPS risk assessments, Security threat analyses, and other ad-hoc risk assessment activities.
- Monitoring the overall CAT I-II-III and 3rd Party Projects SHES performance against performance indicators and providing strategic advice and guidance for improvement opportunities to the SHES Management System.
- Supporting and ensuring that Projects SHES standards are integrated across all EPC contractors and sub-contractors, including information sharing, lessons learned, best practices and innovations.
- Demonstrating positive leadership through attendance at key project activities e.g. management walk-throughs, PSSRs, award programs, welfare events, Incident and Injury Free (IIF) activities, toolbox talks, steering meetings, and incident review meetings.
- Providing guidance and stewardship for OES leadership team, to ensure they are fully engaged and active participants in the overall Project SHES Management program.
- Supporting all interfaces with external parties, including regulatory and government agencies, and participating in any audits and inspections as SHES representative for the overall project.

- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science.
- NEBOSH diploma.
- Extensive SHES field experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent oral and written English skills.
- Strong analytical, team working and collaboration skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills sustaining credibility with peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
- Strong technical skills including auditor/Taproot investigation experience.
