Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shisha Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality shisha (hookah) for customers, ensuring an exceptional smoking experience. This role involves knowledge of various shisha flavors, the ability to create custom blends, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the hookah equipment.

• Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and Setup:

• Prepare and assemble hookah setups for customers, including filling the base with water, packing the bowl with shisha tobacco, and lighting coals.

Create custom shisha blends based on customer preferences, offering recommendations on flavors and combinations.

Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, explaining the menu and assisting with flavor selection.

• Address customer inquiries or concerns regarding the shisha experience, ensuring satisfaction.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Regularly clean and maintain all hookah equipment, including hoses, bowls, and bases, to ensure hygiene and safety.

Monitor the condition of hookah equipment and report any issues to management for repair or replacement.

• Safety Compliance:

Follow all health and safety regulations related to hookah preparation, handling, and disposal of coals.

• Ensure that coals are handled safely and disposed of properly to prevent accidents or hazards.

Inventory Management:

• Keep track of shisha tobacco, coals, and other supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are sufficient for daily operations.

Assist in ordering supplies as needed.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation, especially during peak hours.

• Assist with other tasks as needed, including helping in other areas of the lounge or caf.

• Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Shisha Maker or similar role in a hookah lounge or caf.

• Knowledge of various shisha tobacco flavors, brands, and preparation techniques.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Comfortable working with and around hot coals and other hookah-related equipment.

* Ability to lift and carry hookah equipment and supplies as needed.
