Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Supervisor to join our team. As a Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our shop, ensuring efficient and high-quality service to our customers. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Ensure that all food service operations meet food safety and sanitation standards
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Assist with scooping gelato, ice cream, making milkshakes and coffee
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service management or a similar supervisory role
- Proven customer service experience with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Knowledge of POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Ice Cream, Gelato or Pasty Shop or Coffee shop experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
