Position Overview:
The Showroom Manager will oversee the daily operations of our Dubai showroom, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently. The manager will maintain the showroom's appearance, manage the team, and drive sales to meet targets. Additionally, the Showroom Manager will collaborate closely with the marketing team to enhance showroom visibility and customer engagement. The Showroom Manager will work directly under the Managing Director and will provide her with a weekly report on showroom activities and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Showroom Maintenance and Presentation:
Ensure the showroom is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing at all times.
Coordinate with maintenance staff for any repairs or upgrades needed.
Oversee the arrangement and display of products to attract and engage customers.
2. Team Management:
Lead, motivate, and support the showroom staff, including sales associates and administrative personnel.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and provide training.
Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans when necessary.
3. Sales and Customer Service:
Achieve showroom sales targets through effective team management and personal sales efforts.
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing personalized service.
4. Marketing and Promotion:
Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities and events.
Assist in creating marketing materials and campaigns tailored to the showroom's target audience.
Utilize social media and other digital platforms to enhance the showroom's online presence.
5. Inventory and Stock Management:
Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are adequately stocked.
Coordinate with suppliers and manage orders to maintain product availability.
Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock discrepancies.
6. Administrative Duties:
Oversee scheduling and ensure the showroom is adequately staffed during operating hours.
Handle financial transactions, including daily cash reconciliations and bank deposits.
Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and showroom activities.
Provide the Managing Director with a detailed weekly report on showroom operations and performance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the luxury sector.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
Knowledge of marketing principles and experience in executing marketing campaigns.
