We are seeking a skilled
ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Technician with a valid SIRA Technician Card and experience in gate barrier systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements.
Installation and Maintenance:- Install, configure, and maintain ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, gate barriers, and alarm systems.
Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs to ensure all systems operate efficiently and effectively.Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ELV systems promptly.
- Provide technical support and solutions to clients and team members.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all installations and maintenance work complies with local regulations and SIRA requirements.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.- Prepare and submit reports on system performance and any incidents or issues encountered.
Client Interaction:- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Conduct training sessions for clients on the proper use of installed systems.
Valid SIRA Technician Card
.- Proven experience in ELV systems, particularly in
gate barrier systems
. Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid drivers license is preferred.
Field-based role with frequent on-site visits.
- May require working outside regular hours in case of emergencies.
