House of Consulting Office for Consulting Engineers Co. (HCO) is a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm based in Saudi Arabia. HCO employs a diverse range of architectural, engineering, planning, and consultancy professionals, allowing them to offer a one-stop solution for their clients project needs throughout the entire lifecycle. HCO works on a wide range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial,
hospitality, retail, and healthcare.
The Site Architectural Inspector will review architectural shop drawings, specifications, and submittals for compliance with project requirements. They will approve and evaluate materials, finishes, and installations to ensure design intent is met, and coordinate with project team members and stakeholders to address any issues or discrepancies identified during the review process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to architectural standards, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Thoroughly review architectural shop drawings to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Identify any discrepancies or errors that could affect the project's design intent or structural integrity.
- Conduct inspections and evaluate the quality of materials, finishes, and installations to ensure compliance with the design intent.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to the project team, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure compliance with architectural standards and regulations.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations summarizing progress, issues, and recommendations for the project.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on inspection progress and any issues identified.
Required Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in architecture from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 10 years of architecture experience, focusing on supervision and project management.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and design standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with
cross-functional teams.
- Experience in multi-story hotel projects or luxury hospitality projects is highly preferred.
