Site Engineer

We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our FITOUT team in KSA.

The individuals will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Job Role - As a Site Engineer at ALEC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the construction fit-out projects from inception to completion. You will ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with various stakeholders, managing site activities, and solving any technical issues that arise during the fit-out process.

Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Lead and manage fit-out projects from initial planning through to final handover.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met.

Site Supervision

• Oversee day-to-day operations on site, including the coordination of subcontractors and trades.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is executed according to specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
• Resolve any technical issues or discrepancies that arise on site promptly.

Coordination and Communication

• Provide regular updates to Project Managers and other relevant parties on project status and any issues that may impact progress.
• Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the project.

Quality and Safety

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Implement and enforce health and safety procedures on site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Conduct regular safety audits and address any potential hazards immediately.

Technical Expertise

• Apply advanced technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to address complex issues that arise during the fit-out process.
• Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensuring that all work aligns with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in site engineering, with significant experience in fit-out projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, fit-out procedures, and building regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
