Your new role, what's involved
WSP Riyadh is seeking a highly experienced Site Engineer to join our team and oversee site supervision activities for prestigious road, bridges, highway, and tunnel projects in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership and oversight for site supervision activities, including monitoring construction progress, ensuring adherence to project schedules, and resolving technical issues.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, engineers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project objectives are met and deliverables are achieved according to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess construction quality, identify deviations from approved plans, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure alignment with project requirements and facilitate smooth project execution.
Coordinate with project teams to manage construction resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, and optimize resource allocation to meet project timelines and budget constraints.
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, resolving technical queries, providing solutions to construction challenges, and promoting best practices in construction methodologies and techniques.
Prepare and review technical documentation, including method statements, work procedures, and quality control plans, to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Monitor health, safety, and environmental practices on construction sites, implementing measures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in construction management and site supervision, incorporating relevant advancements into project strategies and methodologies.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in site supervision and construction management, with a focus on road, bridges, highway, and tunnel projects.
Proven track record of working with top international construction consultants and delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
Strong technical expertise in civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary project teams.
Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms for project management, scheduling, and documentation.
