We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our consultancy team in the construction supervision of a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects, with specific expertise in CCGT or related energy sector developments.
Your new role, what's involved
- Provide leadership and direction to the construction supervision team.
- Ensure effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage daily activities of team members.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules.
- Review and approve technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Resolve technical issues and conflicts that arise during construction.
- Implement quality control procedures and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Oversee safety protocols and enforce safety regulations on the construction site.
- Collaborate with other project stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and engineers.
- Track project budget and expenses, ensuring cost control.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Lead team meetings and facilitate problem-solving discussions.
- Promote a positive team culture and foster professional development.
- Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in construction management or a similar role, typically 3-5 years, with a focus on power generation projects, preferably CCGT.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles specific to CCGT projects.
- Demonstrated understanding of environmental regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
