We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team and oversee the construction supervision of a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine plant. This project is located in Rayis near Yanbu Saudi Arabia.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall construction supervision of the plant. You will work closely with a team of operators, engineers, and maintenance staff to ensure the plant's optimal performance, compliance with industry regulations, and the highest standards of safety.
Your new role, what's involved
- Adhere to the Client's health, safety, environmental and security policies at all times and immediately report violations of these policies to Client.
- Perform the department tasks to ensure that all assignments have been effectively completed.
- Regular site inspections and internal audits are being conducted during civil works, engineering, procurement and installation phase to guarantee conformity to contract requirements and defined standards (timeline, budget, technical scope, quality assurance and HSE).
- Identification of potential technical risks across projects.
- Understanding of Mechanical equipment installation and inspection.
- Review Method statements, ITPs, attend inspections, etc.
- Update the Client on a regular basis about project construction status, risks, and any other critical matter.
- Review the project schedule activities against the actual progress and participate for improve/ mitigate arising issues and report to the
- Follow up and involve in projects daily activities.
- Act as point of contact between the project company/EPC and WSP for site related works.
- Review of the contractor's construction management plan, quality plan and execution documentation and ensure compliance at site.
- Scheduling or arranging joint site coordination meetings.
- Supervise the commissioning activities such as initial tests, start-up, operational tests, performance and reliability test.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Relevant Bachelor's degree; advanced degree is a plus.
- 15+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Combined Cycle Gas Turbines.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Certification in project management is a plus.
- Demonstrated understanding of environmental regulations and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
